Frozen II Poster Illustration
This poster was an opportunity for me to introduce myself to vector drawing while also incorporating my traditional shaded illustration style. Initially, I had drawn a complete poster in my usual drawing style, using Photoshop sketch. Then, I imported this poster into Illustrator Draw, where I began to draw vector shapes over top of it, simplifying my original drawing into defined areas of light and shadow while working with a more limited color palette. I ended up with two seperate posters, one consisting of vectors and the other “traditionally” illustrated, but I then decided to combine the two. When editing the final “fusion” poster, I focused on highlighting the intricate shading from my original poster, while also showcasing the vibrant hues I used in my vector drawing. The result combines the best element of each piece and bridges my past illustrations with the vector style I would later explore in future projects.

Project Time-Lapse
This video shows the progression of the first poster I illustrated and near the end it features some early planning for the second vector poster that I was already brainstorming.
