Wildlife Conservation Society App

This project was for a marketing-focused digital media class that I took as a part of a business fellowship. For this assignment, I decided to create a responsive website and an app for the Wildlife Conservation Society, a non-profit organization that conserves natural land and maintains conservation projects in 65 countries worldwide. The 16 “priority regions” that the organization works in hosts over 50% of the planet’s entire biodiversity.

The goals of the mobile app I designed would be to allow users to easily contact local representatives (based on user location) and provide direct lines of contact (texting/calling/emailing/tweeting) from within the app itself (instead of the multiple steps needed to do so from a mobile web browser). Some examples could include pre-written text to add to emails or scripts/talking points to use during phone calls. The app would update as the website adds more issues or if a specific bill is introduced.

Wireframes

Below are some of the wireframes that I created in the process of visualizing the layout of the website and app screens. Although I still didn't have a fully complete idea of what content I wanted to display on the screens, looking at the completed wireframes helped me realize what would look best and be most helpful for a user at each point in their experience.
